Just say Yes Yes to Esemco, or time for Arts and Crafts

Hello, gentle reader!  Today, we're going to take a look at a wonderful maker of creative and beautiful pieces, Esemco.

Esemco is a trademark used by maker Shinman Manufacturing Company out of Newark, New Jersey.  Esemco was first used in the late 1920s, with mainly Art Deco style designs.  Later they made funkier Arts and Crafts designs.  Most of their jewelry was handcrafted, with semiprecious or glass faux stones, and they were one of the main makers of camphor glass jewelry.  Esemco jewelry was designed through the mid-1970s.

Below are a few more examples of the Esemco maker's mark.

I have one delightful Esemco ring in my shop!

10k gold, green stone, lovely setting!

There are not many of these in the market, so snap them up when you find them.  Wearable but so unique and charming.

Thanks for reading today!  Take care and have some ice cream!  You've earned it today, I can tell.
