Today, we are looking at a mysterious little mark--a fancy, schmancy swan! If you run across this little bird in your batch of vintage jewelry, you have hit a jackpot, because it's made by Swarovski!
Here are a couple of examples, usually just a plain swan with a copyright C mark:
Swarovski began using this mark in the late 1980s, replacing the SC block mark, mainly on jewelry. Here is a nice article about the history of Swarovski marks:
